BRAVLION is a PKD DNA, FeLV, FIV testing cattery.
Exotic Shorthairs are a cross between an American or British short hair and a Persian. They have the body conformation of a Persian but with short plush fur, giving them the appearance of living teddy bears. Originally created in the early 1960's, they were formally recognized by the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) in 1967. Exotic Shorthairs tend to have a gentle and affectionate disposition. The Exotic is sometimes referred to as the "lazy man's Persian", as it has the same body and head type as a Persian, but due to its shorter fur it does not require the frequent brushing that a Persian does. |

Welcome to Bitterroot Bobcat and Lynx
We raise the NW bobcats, also called lynx cats and lynx rufus superiorensis. These bobcats are native to the Rocky Mountain regions in Idaho and Montana and are primarily the "Montana Blue" color--a smoky gray with beautiful spots and markings. They get large--45 to 60 lbs in 3 to 4 years and are socialized and imprinted on people before they can see or hear. They are extremely affectionate and loving and most of the bobcat kittens I sell for pets sleep with theirowners--even at 60 lbs when they take over the bed!.
These bobcats are "wet-nursed" on my domestic cats with their own kittens and bottle fed so they are very attached to domestic cats and the best ones I have sold have been raised with dogs, cats and other animals and children.They are extremely dependent and stay that way--they will always stay submissive to the other animals in the house even when they tower over them. I supply references and have my NW bobcats in most states and am licensed by the USDA and the state of Montana since 1985. |
